In order to make sure this happens, a few precautions need to be taken when you’re wearing braces, including watching what foods you eat. For your best interests, you’ll need to avoid hard and sticky foods while also minimizing sugary foods.

  • Toffee
  • Tootsie Rolls
  • Caramels
  • Starburst

  • French bread crust/rolls
  • Corn on the cob
  • Apples and carrots (unless cut into small pieces)

  • Uncooked carrots (unless cut)
