Team Owl is very eager to get back to our offices—and back to caring for all the smiles our patients have entrusted us with. We are taking these specific, careful steps to ensure the safety and well-being of each and every patient and team member.

    Appointment Rescheduling

    • Please wait for a call from Owl. Our team will call you to schedule your appointments.
    • We will reference a comprehensive list of all cancellations, including days and times. Appointments will be remade on a first-cancelled, first-rescheduled basis.
    • Emergencies are defined as pain, bleeding, or infection.
Broken braces (brackets) and poorly fitting aligners will not constitute an emergency.

    Patient Responsibilities

    • Please wear your own mask to each appointment.
Masks must be worn at all times in the clinic, except during treatment.
    • Remain in your car when you arrive. Upon arrival, please call the office you are visiting and each patient will be admitted when the chair is ready.
    • Only the patient being treated will be allowed in the clinic. Exceptions can be made for very young patients, in which case, only one parent or caregiver will be allowed to accompany them.
    • Please brush your teeth at home. Owl’s brushing sinks will be used for hand-washing only, and every patient will be required to wash their hands upon arrival.
    • Upon entry to the clinic, each patient’s temperature will be taken using a touchless thermometer, and a wellness screening consisting of a few health-related questions will be performed.
    • Any patient with a temperature 100 degrees F or higher, or who indicates possible exposure to COVID-19, will be asked to leave, and only be permitted to return after completing the required 14-day self quarantine.
    • Patients will be required to rinse with a hydrogen peroxide solution before any procedures are performed.
    • Patients will be seated in every other chair to maintain required distancing.

    Team Owl Responsibilities

    • Each Owl team member, including your orthodontist, will have their temperature taken every day. Any team member with a temperature 100 degrees F or higher will be sent home.
    • To rule out possible exposures to COVID-19, every member of Team Owl will answer the same health-related questions as patients are asked.
    • Any team member who indicates possible exposure to COVID-19 will not return to work until they have completed the required 14-day self quarantine.

Thanks for your continued trust in Owl Orthodontics. Please feel free to contact the office with any questions.
